You may have seen Risa Priestley around town. She’s the one with the bright green exotic Eclectus parrot called Sissco on her shoulder. Sissco often accompanies Risa as she visits job sites and hangs out in the shop, interacting with customers. On occasion her precious Maltese, Sophie also greets and welcomes customers in the showroom. “Many of our customers bring their family and friends back just to see these two star attractions. Sissco & Sophie are kind of the shop mascots”.

With blonde spiked hair and a contagious smile, Risa is someone you can’t forget. She exhibits such high energy and positive attitude, you just want to get to know her. This is one Georgia peach who knows how to move and shake. Being an entrepreneur most of her adult life, Risa has owned and operated several successful businesses. Back in Georgia, she pioneered the concept of specialty designer picture frames, and, moldings and even owned her own manufacturing plant. A natural designer with over 30 years of experience, Risa has the knack of just making a decorating scheme work no matter what the style is. Making her home here on the Emerald Coast 8 years ago, she began operating a design/remodel business from home. Listening to her customers, who kept saying, “We want to touch and feel the merchandise,” Risa’s Interiors was born. It is a full service design company offering one-stop shopping for customers.

From the moment you enter the shop you are aware of the beauty and tranquility of the space. Risa’s keen eye for buying are evident as you perceive all the canvas art work, lamps mirrors, pillows, trays, bedding and many unique accessories to give her furniture adornment.

At the shop you’ll find music of a local Christian artist and actress Sonya Cunningham and local author of Accessing the Promises, Dee Chernicky. It is a must-have book! Risa’s offers custom furniture and drapery treatments as well. What you see at the shop is a fraction of what Risa’s Interiors has to offer. Risa’s is also a full remodeling specialist offering everything from painting, cabinet re-facing, countertops, carpet, to full gut outs and redos’. Being a strong Christian is what Risa credits to her success. Looking to fill the needs of others is a way of life, WE care about our customers!
